GDPR Statement
At Doggie Dazzlers dog grooming i am required to obtain and store some personal information to be able to offer my services. Such information will be stored in accordance with all relevant legislation and will never be shared with any third party or organisation and will only be used for the purposes of providing the requested or related services. Pricing
All prices provided are an estimate only and additional fees will apply for bad coat condition, behaviour issues and flea infestations and for any reason the grooming process may take additional time due to senior, nervous, anxious dogs that require additional handling.
Appointments
I work on an appointment only basis and to a strict time frame, please drop your dog off to me at the appointed time. Any drop offs more than 15 minutes late will be refused service and the full cost of the groom will be payable.
Pick ups
The pick up time will be agreed at the drop off point and in some circumstance i will contact the owner 15 minutes before the end of the groom to inform you your dog is ready.
As a 1:1 groomer i do not have the facilities to keep dogs after their grooming appointment times so please be punctual in picking up your dogs. There will be an additional cost of £10 per 30minutes for dogs not picked up at the correct time.
Cancellations
I require 48 hours notice for cancelled appointments or the full grooming price will be charged and must be paid before any re-booking.
Vaccinations
By using my services owners confirm that their dogs are up to date with annual vaccinations against Canine distemper, Infectious canine hepatitis, Leptospirosis and canine parvovirus. Unvaccinated dogs may put themselves or others at risk. At Doggie Dazzlers i accept no responsibility for any dog that may contract any of the aforementioned diseases. I may ask for proof of vaccination.
Fleas & ticks
Please do not bring your dog to my salon if you know they have a flea infestation. If the dog is found to have fleas when they are already in my salon i will use a flea shampoo and there will be an additional cost of £15.00 added to the groom price to cover my cost of additional disinfection of my salon.
Health & medical conditions
The grooming process may aggravate or highlight unknown or current medical issues, if absolutely necessary i may need to seek emergency veterinary treatment for your dog. This agreement gives me permission to do so without contacting you first although i will do my best to contact you. Unless i am deemed to be negligent all vet expenses are the responsibility of the owner.
Elderly, overweight, infirm or young dogs
Doggie Dazzlers dog grooming reserves the right to stop the grooming process with full payment due if we feel that the process is causing a severe health risk.
Doggie Dazzlers dog grooming doesn't accept any responsibility for any irritation, cuts, nicks or abrasions aquired during the grooming process.
Coat condition
Under the animal welfare act 2006 it is an offence to cause any unnecessary suffering to an animal. If i deem your dogs coat to be too matted for a normal groom and you have already left my salon i will do my upmost to contact you about a complete shave down, if in the circumstances i am unable to contact you and i believe in my professional opinion that a full shave down is in the best interests of the welfare of the dog this is the action i will take. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are agreeing to my de -matting disclaimer.
At Doggie Dazzlers we reserve the right to add additional costs for behaviour issues especially issues that have not been disclosed by the owner prior to the groom and where the grooming process has taken longer due to the issues.
As a solo groomer i do not accept any aggresive dogs and reserve the right to refuse or stop the grooming process if the dog is or becomes aggresive with full payment due for the appointment.
